Easy to add to or move, reducing risks associated with rise and fall in student numbers.
- Usage:
- Cram school reconstruction
- Customer:
- Manabiya College Higashi Neyagawa School
- Project:
- Manabiya reconstruction
- Site Location:
- Osaka prefecture, Japan
- Customer needs:
- Manabiya asked us to rebuild a school using our modular buildings so as to enable future expansion or relocation as occasion demanded. Because many children attend the school after regular school hours, we were asked to reduce construction-related risks and complete the job in as short a time as possible to allow the students to study in peace. The customer was also concerned that use of modular buildings would make the school look like a warehouse.
- Plan:
- Our modular buildings can not only be added to or moved freely, but can also be erected very quickly, even in one day is some cases. We reduced risk of injury from large vehicles by limiting delivery of units to one day. We used full length glass panels to create a bright interior learning environment, and large signs (offered as an option) to add accent to the metallic silver exterior. We addressed all of the customer’s demands, and Manabiya was delighted with the bold and unique design of the new school.
